The 2nd edition of Crawl, Walk, Run has a dedicated chapter to Google Analytics 4 (GA4) which is super helpful for me. It also covers the difference between Universal Analytics and GA4 and eased my concerns about migrating. I especially liked the explanation and coverage of the "event-based" architecture and the author's take on the real power of GA4 -- the ability to see the big picture, leveraging user ID and Google Signals to look at all user data across all devices to "see" all purchases, conversions, and engagements as ONE dataset. Simplifies tracking.
