With all of the changes being announced on the privacy front lately, the new content is incredibly timely. I now have an understanding of what is possible versus just be concerned about all of the changes. Solid advice from Sean Downey in the Forward and very good easy to understand explanation of what to expect with GA4. Good stuff.

Loved the first edition of Crawl Walk Run, but I appreciate the timely updates in regards to GA4 and the new content about ADH, Cloud, and the Salesforce integration. In an always evolving industry like data governance and web analytics this needs to be your go-to reading in 2021!

I love the new Edition as it covers Google ADH and several other new solutions with Google ecosystem. Book authors do a great job explaining analytics landscape and constructing a framework for how to succeed. This is a must read for a digital marketer.

I first met Michael Loban on the Xavier University Marketing Advisory Board on which we both served. I was the Worldwide Director of Marketing for Cincom Systems, Inc. with a team of more than 125 people handling the marketing of 7 software products in all geographies. We built over 20 websites and published thousands of pages of content. Crawl, Walk, Run is definitely a good playbook that every organization should have. This book will guide you in assessing where your organization is currently within the Analytics Maturity Framework. The whole book has been updated to include GA4 and Ads Data Hub which is great.

The 2nd edition of Crawl, Walk, Run has a dedicated chapter to Google Analytics 4 (GA4) which is super helpful for me. It also covers the difference between Universal Analytics and GA4 and eased my concerns about migrating. I especially liked the explanation and coverage of the "event-based" architecture and the author's take on the real power of GA4 -- the ability to see the big picture, leveraging user ID and Google Signals to look at all user data across all devices to "see" all purchases, conversions, and engagements as ONE dataset. Simplifies tracking.

I refer to this book as the marketing and analytics "Industry Bible". This book should be read by every stakeholder in marketing and analytics as it avoids the normal "fluff" and provides tangible and actionable steps for organizations to drive their analytics maturity. A MUST READ.
