What I liked about Negotiate Like YOU MATTER was the way it addresses self - worth. The concept of getting my mind right before negotiating was like a light bulb. Thank you Rebecca Zung for writing such a thoughtful and insightful book on negotiation. I don't have a law practice and I can already think of a dozen ways I can use the concepts including negotiating with my teens!

Rebecca Zung-Clough has given us another book that is not only incredibly useful for day to day life, but is also a fun read! Her skillful combination of research, professional experiences that span decades as a top divorce attorney, and personal anecdotes all blend beautifully to create a book that clearly and concisely maps out a much needed skill set. While the book is full of techniques and strategies, it is also very enjoyable to read - much like you are having a conversation about negotiating over lunch with the author! The most surprising element to me, though, was that this book is not only helpful as a reference guide in those major turning points in our life (divorce mediations, asking for a raise, or buying a house) - as I read the book I found that the concepts applied to so many situations in day-to-day life - encompassing all types of relationships with others that we carry every day. The author remains true to living life with integrity as her overriding theme.

Highly recommend this book by Top divorce attorney Rebecca Zung, Esq. as it offers a wealth of information to everyone. Wish she would have written it sooner because several points she made in the book have been SO applicable to a current situation I am in the middle of negotiating. Totally worth it!! This book has a lot of very useful information. Very informative. Useful "exercises" for preparing for negotiations of all types, both legally and psychologically. Explanations of what to expect and what to NOT to expect. Excellent info on how to motivate people of all types and in different situations. Really useful and insightful. Highly recommended.

I would recommend this book to everyone, not just people who are negotiating with their soon to be ex during the divorce. The book it’s a must read, I enjoy and value the information Rebecca Zung provides, I am a big fan.

This book made an unusually positive impression on me. Rebecca Zung starts with something that's basic about human beings ~ our need to know that we matter. She then shows how that need, and the ways it plays out inside you, determines how effectively you negotiate in life. I loved how she took universal human traits and translated them into a concrete, practical road map to getting what you want and deserve.

The important word in the title is YOU - this book guides you through the process of understanding your own mind and emotions, then the other minds and emotions in a negotiation situation. Rebecca Zung takes you through the steps to success and does it with ease. This book is well written and personable, it makes you feel like she is right there with you, walking you through the maze of possible obstacles and explaining what to do about them. Well done!

I ordered this book because I had mediation over child custody. My ex is a textbook narcissist who is only motivated by money and the goal make me look as bad as possible. This book gave me the edge I needed.
