Jennifer Rios Jeff Lerner Review

Meet Jennifer Rios. She is in the process of building her very own affiliate business and it feels amazing! She had spent a few years previously looking for an entrepreneurial opportunity and came across ENTRE Blueprint via a YouTube ad. She really resonated with the goal of owning her own business so she could be in control of her time and how much money she makes. She is now doing that with ENTRE!

Today’s guest on the Millionaire Secrets podcast is Dr. James Neilson Watt.

James is a former healthcare practitioner who ran his own wildly successful clinic.

When he no longer enjoyed the grind of day-to-day clinic life and began wanting more freedom, he started to explore methods for making money online.

But it wasn’t until his wife fell pregnant with their first child that he really started to get serious about an online business and breaking away from clinic life!

In fact, he credits the birth of his first child as giving him the strong enough WHY that he needed for finding success and, ultimately, becoming a millionaire.

Like any good father, James was desperate to provide well for his child and his wife.

Not only this, but he also wanted to be at home and to spend as much time as possible with his young family.

So James had his WHY.

From there, he became ruthless with his time management and this created an incredible level of productivity.

He realized just how much time he'd been wasting before. Now he had a burning desire to succeed, and this naturally created an impactful time management philosophy.

It's not just about time = money.

It's so much more than that. It's about realizing that we all have a bank account of time. Some of us are spending that time wastefully. Others are not.

I loved this chat with James as I think it really digs into something that we haven't covered in so much detail before on the podcast - time management philosophy.

So James makes his millions selling services to practitioners and clinic owners in the health niche.

As stated before, James built his own wildly successful health clinic. He did this thanks to a rather natural understanding of the need for good marketing that would grow an audience and create engagement. Other practice owners lacked this talent.

And so, this was his superpower.

And it was something he didn't realize he had until other clinic owners started coming to him for help.

His online business born.

It didn't take long for James to see the true value he was offering people and upped his prices accordingly. Within a few short months, he was making $100k per month, and not long after that, he made his first million.

Baby Steps Millionaires: How Ordinary People Built Extraordinary Wealth--and How You Can Too Hardcover – January 11, 2022

by Dave Ramsey (Author)

Many people are familiar with Dave Ramsey as the guy who sucked up lots of zeros at the last. He made his million dollars in his 20s--in the incorrect way, and then went insolvent. Then he began to discover God's methods to manage money and created Ramsey Baby Steps. Ramsey Baby Steps. After following this method, Dave made it to millionaire status yet again, but this time in using the correct method.

After 30 years of guiding millions of people through the steps, the evidence is undisputed that if you adhere to all of the Baby Steps, you will be a millionaire and be able an opportunity to be a giver and giver more than anyone other.

Within the Baby Steps to Millionaires it is a chance to will . . .

  • Have a closer look at Baby Step 4 to learn how Dave invests and creates wealth.

  • Discover how to break through the blocks that keep you from becoming millionaires

  • You will hear real-life stories from everyday people who have gotten themselves free of financial debt and created wealth

  • Learn how anyone can be millionaire, and especially you

Baby Steps Millionaires It's not a book that divulges about the ways of being wealthy. It doesn't explain sophisticated financial concepts only for the wealthy. In fact, the information provided is easy to understand, practical and perhaps even boring. But the lifestyle you'll enjoy when you follow this set of Baby Steps is anything but boring! It doesn't require a huge inheritance or winning lottery ticket to be millionaire. Anyone can make it happen, even now. If you're ready now, the game is on!

I've learned about Dave Ramsey buy pure luck white listening to some training on something that had nothing to do with personal finances. I had over $30K in debt. That was 3 years ago. Today, I'm debt free, I have my fully funded emergency fund, a paid for house, and I'm now on my way to be a Baby Step Millionaire. You can do it too. I just finished this audiobook and I will keep listening to it over and over because Dave shows clearly what we need to do. I followed Dave's advice on The Total Money Makeover and I will follow his advice from this new book. If you need help to keep you focused and you need to help to keep do it, this is a must read/listen. Walk the baby steps. They work! Remember: you live like no one else... so later you can live and give like no one else. Dave, being based in Portugal I wanted to go and do a Live Debt Free scream... but maybe I better save the travel money so that I can later can do a "Baby Step Millionaire scream" in a few years. I hope I can meet you in person one that so that I can thank you for changing my life - and hopefully my kids life too!

After pre-ordering Baby Steps Millionaires, it arrived in the mail late last night. Stayed up reading it! Because it is such a page-turner, I finished half of it before telling myself I really needed to get some sleep. This is the first time in a long time I enjoyed the short stories (case studies) and didn't view it as fluff - whatsoever.

I could go on and on about which sections and chapters I like most so far, but I don't want to put any spoiler alerts here.

It helps to know what Ramsey's Baby Steps and Financial Peace University are, for some context, though not necessary.

I did FPU and started the RBS in grad school, circa 2010. I regret not sticking to it because I know for a fact I could have been a Baby Steps Millionaire by now. Maybe my story could have been in Dave Ramsey's book too.

I listened to Dave's radio show as a podcast with fervor in 2017 as I got myself out of living paycheck to paycheck. I learned about Dave because my brother bought Dave's 2014 book "The Legacy Journey" for my parents. Even though I've consumed so much Ramsey content, I still learned new things in this book. I highly recommend this book because it helps the reader understand the mindset of managing money well. Other Ramsey resources give you the practical steps; this book helps explain the "why?" behind it all.

When I browsed the table of contents as I was deciding whether to buy this book, the chapter title that hooked me was "Will Wealth Ruin My Kids?" Wealth hasn't ruined Dave's three kids, and he shares wisdom in this chapter. The chapter that I enjoyed the most was "A Millionaire Is Not a Billionaire," because it helped me to understand how the practices and mindset of following the baby steps is very different from the strategies of the people who had the grit and good fortune to create a company or product that makes billions and billions of dollars.

Dave and his editorial team write crisp, clear prose. They use great analogies and teach principles through stories. As someone with a Ph.D., I really appreciate the rigor with which they conducted the quantitative and qualitative studies of millionaires. Thank you for all that you do, Dave and team, to encourage people to view themselves as the masters of their own choices and as beloved children of God!

Having been through Dave Ramsey’s courses of Financial Peace University and The Legacy Journey, this was a poignant reminder that if you put forth effort into Dave's proven baby steps, you CAN be successful. Yes, I knew his Baby Steps, but I purchased this book as a reminder of his proven method. The inspiring stories coming from a variety of people from all different walks of life was fascinating. It proves you don't have to come from a wealthy family or inherit a lot of money to be successful. I also purchased this book to read the The National Study of Millionaires located at the end of the book. One can learn from the patterns and habits of those involved in the survey. Whether you listen to Dave on Podcast, Youtube, or have his materials, this is an excellent read. Having read the book, I plan to pass it on to another person to inspire them to feel the success that hard work and dedication to one's finances can bring!

Very Informative

Reviewed in the United States on January 17, 2022

Back in 2015, someone mentioned in a neighborhood social media post that they followed Dave Ramsey' method and that he now owns three houses. I kept this Dave Ramsey name at the back of my mind and thought it was another expensive, Hollywood-style financial advisor whose strategy wouldn't work for us, middle-class, South Asian immigrants. We were trapped in a slave mentality.

Three years later, we learned about financial principles in the Bible and fiscal responsibility, through our church.

Thereafter, I had been looking for Bible-based financial strategies on YouTube and Dave Ramsey's videos came up. WHAT??? You were here ALL along and I didn't KNOW???!! This was my initial reaction. It was just like 'finding' Jesus!

Since then, I have been following Dave's podcasts quite obsessively to detox from the financial misinformation I have had in my head virtually all my life.

After we got a much better quote from a Dave Ramsey endorsed insurance provider, I was even more invested in DR's strategies. So this book was put on my 2021 Christmas wishlist.

A bookstore at the mall had put a dozen copies of Baby Steps Millionaire out by mistake just before Christmas. My husband who did not know about the January 2022 release date, had picked up a copy and taken it to the counter to pay. A visibly nervous cashier had called the manager who also became a bit nervous about their mistake. Nevertheless, he honored the sale! Imagine my shock on Christmas morning!

"WHAAAT? HOOOW?". When my husband related the above experience I let him in on the release date, and he was flummoxed!

It is my Christmas miracle and the good Lord made it happen. Hallelujah!

Now about the book itself, it has a ton of inspirational stories of those who succeeded in DR's Baby Steps method. I am a chicken-soup-for-the-soul kind of reader who loves to read inspiring success stories that fuel my aspirations and empower me. It is more convincing than plain advice.

This book is written in simple terms and not industry-specific lingo, which I would need to google for definitions.

Dave explains the difference between millionaire and billionaire. This changed my perspective of wealth greatly, and convinced me that it is not a lofty goal to be a debt-free millionaire after all.

For someone who is just getting started in paying down debt and building wealth, I find this book to be helpful with practical information.

My husband and I no longer argue about which method is best to pay off a credit card. We no longer have conflicting views about prioritizing our spending when the paycheck comes in; save, pay down debt, which credit card should be paid first or throw in the towel and just do minimum payments to chip away at debt.

This books gives clarity on all that so there are no conflicting views.

The Baby Steps Millionaire gives us a clear direction and a point of reference.

There are no new tricks to getting out of debt and staying the way. Dave is pretty clear about his intentions, so if anyone feels betrayed by a book that has information he has said before, then that's just too bad.

The basic information is going to sound the same until you have learned the lesson.

The font and font size, word and line spacing makes it very comfortable to read without my reading glasses. The page is not crowded with information that overwhelms me. The pages are a nice thickness and not flimsy. It actually makes a really presentable gift.

As much as I get excited to read the book with "gazelle intensity", I really value Dave's expertise, and end up taking my tim to read the book at snail's pace.

Really like the epilogue. Chapter 8 was intriguing. It gives you a behind the curtain view and better understanding of the rich. Really liked the interpretation of Matthew 19. It really opened my eyes.

I got the Kindle with Audible combo. He is the narrator for the Audible version which is cool. I had no issues with garbled chapters with Audible. The Kindle version works well.

A Summary of Dave Ramsey's teaching and writing

It is hard to rate this book with stars. I agree with most one stars and five stars reviews at the same time. It all comes to this:

a) if you are familiar with Dave's teaching and writing, this book will be a huge disappointment if you are expecting to read something new. Some sections are almost verbatim parts of his previous books. The National Study of Millionaires will be new only if you haven't read Chris Hogan's Everyday Millionaires. If you have, it's an identical material.

b) if you are not familiar with Dave's teaching and are interested in it, this book would be a good place to start in my opinion, because it is a synopsis of his previous books and principles he teaches. It will give you a decent overview without having to read all of his books.
