Steve Sims is an ex-bricklayer from London who had an incredible idea and decided to run with it.
He started a one-of-a-kind company called “Bluefish,” which describes itself as a luxury concierge service.
This means that if you want anything (and I mean ANYTHING), they’ll make it happen for you.
And they’ve made a LOT of crazy things happen over the years.
But the more interesting part of this story is Steve himself.
You’d expect the person who made this company to have a lot of friends in high places. You’d expect him to come from a wealthy or at least a middle-class background.
But you’d be wrong.
In fact, Steve came from nothing and had no experience in providing a concierge service. But he wasn’t going to let that stop him!

I don't groove on self-help books as a general rule. However, I found Steve's book to be honest and straightforward- laid with examples that you can use or discard as they apply to you. It was a nice way to hit the "reset button" on the way I look at things. I liked how it was populated with his stories rather than a lot of mandates and homework. In other words, Bluefishing lets the reader absorb his entertaining stories and then take from the book the advice he or she wants (rather than absorbing a sermon). An entertaining bloke who has found a way to give his experiences a wider impact- good work! (It is also a quick, breezy read- I zipped through it pretty quickly on my Amazon Fire)
Packed full of life-changing advice

It's rare that I come across a book that I'd say is truly "original." Steve Sims has done it with this book. It's packed full of life-changing lessons and advice on living better, working smarter, and making things happen.
Steve openly shares real-life examples of how putting what he calls "Bluefishing" principles to work in your life and business can open new doors and opportunities in your life and business. He does a masterful job of storytelling to draw you in and then he connects the story to the concept he's teaching so you can make it real in your life.
I thought it would be a fast read at first, but I ended up underlining so much of the book, re-reading the lessons and thinking through how to apply what I was reading that it became a study for me.
His beliefs, while not explicitly pointed out, shine through in the book (almost at a subconscious level) and are worth adopting if you want to make things happen as he has. To make things happen like he does, you have to try on his way of "thinking" and "believing" in things like he does. This starts with his belief that anything is possible and there's always "a way" to make it happen. He's a big thinker and learning how to think big like him is worth far more the price of the book.

Steve Sims' new book (his first!) is not only informative, it is a fun read, coming from a person without a speck of pretense. For someone with connections like nobody's business, Steve is as approachable as any regular guy. It is clear from the tone of his book and his stories that he's the kind of a guy you really want to know. I am reading this cover to cover and look forward to hearing much more about Steve's adventures in the seasons to come.

Great Book: Informative, Inspiring and Fun!

I loved this book. I have bought it for many of my friends, family & colleagues, and I recommenced it to all.
Steve has a very real way of sharing his incredible experiences so the audience wants to join in. I have implemented much of the mindset about building relationships and I have used "don't be easy to understand, be impossible to misunderstand" over and over again as I build my branding. It is such an entertaining book full of great examples that have worked for Steve in building his fantastic business and inspiring for others.. Branding, mindset, relationships, and making things happen... This down-to-earth guy shows the way.
Since reading this book more than once, I have also followed Steve on his podcasts, his Friday night Happy Hours, SimsDistillery.com and look forward to the Speakeasy with him in Nashville. You could say I am a bit of a fan of all his work!
Steve is funny and this book will keep your attention

Blown away by the quality and content of this book. I'm so grateful that Steve wrote this book because I have something that I can give it to people and say, "THIS is the secret to your Success." Do what Steve teaches in this book and you WILL have explosive Success. Steve is funny and this book will keep your attention. He gives real business and life tips in this book that will inspire you to start making things happen. Buy this book. In fact buy 5 copies and give them to people that you care about. This book will be one of those legendary books that we refer to for years to come.

This book is BRILLIANT!!!
Take everything you ever thought you knew about taking care of the people you work with... and now throw it all out the window after reading this book.
Having listen to Steve Sims on a few podcasts and meeting him in person, he is the real deal. This book gives great insight to how to approach everything from the people in your circle, the walls and doors we put up on our own and the tools to take our limiting beliefs and toss them out the window.
Having read the book once so far, I have already started using some of the tips he has throughout the entire book to improve the way I do my day to day interactions with people and businesses.

Steve Sims is a modern-day icon and in his own ugly way presents the most powerful truths to having success in business and in life.
I love how Steve inserts his own story into the book in an open and vulnerable way -- not in a manipulative rags-to-riches fashion that so many "leaders" tend to do, but rather with an identifiable authenticity that is far too rare.
Grab this book immediately and get to it! Read it, study it, listen to it, and live it.
No matter what your lot in life or where along the journey you are, this book will inspire and incite you in the best ways possible.

Real World Advice... From A Down To Earth, No BS Guy

I really appreciate Steve's straight forward approach in Bluefishing. To be completely transparent, he's been a close personal friend for several years, and that obviously impacted my decision to get his book. What I love most about Steve is that even though he's accomplished incredible things in his career, hangs with celebrities, royalty, sports figures and the like... he's one of the most down to earth, helpful and generous people you'll ever meet. And that comes through loud and clear in this book. If you're someone who wants to make more things happen, whether it's personally or professionally, you owe it to yourself to read this book.

Highly recommend this book. It was a great easy read. I have passed it on to others already, and they all liked it. The author is great at storytelling and keeping you engaged. Definitely give it a read.

In the beginning of the book I thought, "Oh my Gosh, again one of these "smartass" book. Man, I paid for it and I'm going to finish it, I like it or not. I'm glad, I'm glad, I went till the end of this book. My advice to you (who is reading this review right now), no matter what, finish reading this book, I'm sure one day, it will worth way more than what you paid for this book.
