I sat through an interview Gary Vee had with Mr. York not too long ago. And here I am listening to him again, this time with Jeff Lerner. I PROMISE that I will find and listen to Josh somewhere else over and over again because he is AMAZING and SO effing inspirational. I appreciate you Josh York.

Hi I am 31 years old and living with my future wife in a condo and I work as a maintenance tech in apartment complex but I want to do more with my life to make it better for the both us, do u think I could improve and have a business that will make me happy with my life?

FUEL is a great short read that gets to the heart of the essential elements required to turn vision into reality. Trial and error. Focus and persistence. Unbridled energy and steady drive. Yes, there are plenty of motivational reads out there, but this one felt authentic. This is the story of Josh York, a dream-maker that provides a real-life testimonial of having a vision, pursuing your dreams, pushing through challenges and making a difference. Great stuff!

Proven and Practical Roadmap for Creating a Successful Company

(Purchased on Apple IBooks) - "Persistence over Intelligence" is a great quote from the book that sums up Josh's D.R.I.V.E and F.U.E.L methods. He tells you flat out there is no secret formula, ivy league school, big VC funding option or hack to creating a successful company. For those of us who started a company with none of those things, it's an awesome thing to hear, because he is telling everyone it's an even playing field if you want it bad enough. And having these "advantages" of financial backing, etc. doesn't make any real difference unless you back it with drive and persistence. I've seen this first hand with founders who had all of these advantages and still didn't make it, they didn't want to work that hard; or didnt have the stomach and mental stamina for it. For those of us who want to "do the impossible" with no money, no contacts, and no short cuts, this book is one to have handy. And he reminds you to have fun in the process, a good reminder.
A quick read that's worth your time

There are few more passionate about what they do and the path that brought them to where they are today than the author of this book, Josh York. This is a short book that motivates, inspires and encourages young entrepreneurs to pursue their dreams. I highly recommend it to those looking for a career change or for valuable insight from someone who has found success building a business from the ground up.

I just finished this book and really enjoyed it. It's a quick read and very powerful. You can see what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur. I have read a lot of business biographies, and this book personifies the fact that you cannot replace persistence, hard work and determination.

I really enjoyed this book. Josh is 100% genuine and you can clearly see he beleives everything he wrote. His motivation and energy is contagious.
